About the Workbench
Who it is for
Undergraduates, interns and residents, and any registered practitioner who may be called on to examine a survivor. The material assumes you are the examining doctor, not an observer.
How to use it
Read the guide once end to end, then keep it open as a bedside reference. Use the drills to test whether the sequence holds up under pressure, before the night it matters.
These are teaching aids. They do not replace the statutory proforma, your hospital's protocol, or the current text of the law. Where a resource and the official proforma differ, the proforma governs.
Clinical and legal responsibility for any examination rests with the examining doctor. Verify section numbers and procedural requirements against the current statute before relying on them in a report or in court.
